Our founder, Mr. Cem Ali ATILGAN, is a seasoned energy investor with more than 32 years of experience in electricity trading, bilateral agreements, load balancing, renewable energy investments, and energy project financing.
He has a strong track record in full-cycle contract management and project execution, making him one of the most accomplished professionals in Türkiye’s energy market.
After studying the ESCO (Energy Services Company) model on-site in international markets, he became the first to adapt this framework to Türkiye’s commercial and legal infrastructure — enabling Turkish consumers to benefit from competitive energy costs and uninterrupted, high-quality power.
Throughout his career, ATILGAN has played pioneering roles in:
• One of Türkiye’s first wholesale electricity trading licenses (2003)
• Leading the country’s first international electricity export project
• Signing the first long-term (10-year) private sector PPA
• Solar investments, financial analysis, valuation, and project financing
He has two children and speaks fluent English.
He currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Atılgan Consulting & Energy,
ESKO Energy Investments, and ESKO Electricity Import–Export & Wholesale.
